Sam qualified in 2002 from Sheffield University. After a year of vocational training in Leicester, she worked in a family dental practice in the midlands.
After 10 years Sam felt it was time to return to her home town of Bury St Edmunds and has been working here since October 2012.
Sam undertakes all aspects of general dentistry which she enjoys. She finds it especially rewarding treating nervous patients, and is currently studying relaxation techniques to help patients feel more at ease. She has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry and whitening, and feels it is really important keeping up to date with all the latest developments.
Sam lives with her husband Mark and her naughty labradoodle Ernie. At the weekends Sam is either busy helping to renovate their little cottage in Rattlesden, or can be found getting her hands dirty in the garden.
