Joel Soares

Dentistry has been a lifelong passion for Joel Soares.

After qualifying in 2005 he began his career in private practice, managing his own clinics in Portugal before moving to the UK in 2013. With a keen desire to help people, he combines his surgical, artistic and dental skills to improve the quality of his patient’s lives. Implant dentistry and surgery are his main interests, but he can also provide orthodontics (fixed or Invisalign), facial aesthetics and cosmetic rehabilitation. Joel is able to provide a comprehensive range of treatment options, offering those he believes are in his patient’s best interests and which will meet their needs and expectations. His intention is to try to make his work blend naturally into the patient’s mouth as if it were always there.

Joel is an experienced dentist who prides himself on his easy-going, approachable manner to help his patients feel as comfortable as possible.
He has undertaken extensive postgraduate education over the years, and strives to keep the highest standards of work. He is committed to ongoing education to keep abreast of the latest treatments and materials, and as a result continues to undertake further training and education encompassing most aspects of dentistry.

When Joel is not at work or at a course somewhere in the world, he is kept more than occupied by his young family.  Joel has varied interests including travelling and experiencing other cultures, he is a keen ‘petrolhead’, supports charities regularly, and enjoys cycling, riding, and skiing.  He also enjoys quieter pursuits such attending concerts and operas as well as visiting theatres, galleries, museums and reading a good book whenever the opportunity arises.
